A direct Google review link opens the review form for your business straight away, so the customer never has to search for it. Paste the review link from your Business Profile or your Place ID and get the link, a QR code and a printable card for free.

Four print-ready designs: an A6 card, a table stand (A5 landscape folded at the centre so it stands), an 85×55 mm business card (10 per A4 sheet) and an A4 poster for the door or till. Choose Save as PDF in the print dialog if you want a file. Google suggests displaying the QR code in your store, and forbids requiring or pressuring customers to review while they are on the premises: let them scan it when they choose.

The link and QR code are made in your browser; nothing is stored on our side.

## How do I get my Google review link from my Business Profile?

1. Sign in with the Google account that owns or manages the profile and open your Business Profile on a computer browser.
2. Select Read reviews, then Get more reviews.
3. Select Copy to copy the review link, which usually starts with g.page/r/, and paste it into the tool above.

Can't see the option? Use [Google's official Place ID Finder](https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/places/web-service/place-id), find your business and copy the ID (usually starting ChIJ); the tool builds the review link from it.

## How do I copy the link and send it to customers?

1. Copy the link with the Copy link button in the tool, or copy the ready message that carries it.
2. Send it right after the visit or service, by WhatsApp, text message or email.
3. Send the same wording to every customer, not only the happy ones, with no discount or gift and no star count asked for.

Google notes you can include the link on receipts, in thank-you emails and at the end of chats.

## Create a Google review QR code for print

1. Paste the review link or Place ID into the tool and the QR code appears beside it.
2. Download an SVG for the printer or a PNG for screens, or print a ready card (A6, table stand, business card or poster).
3. Scan the code with your phone camera before printing and check it opens the review form.
4. Place it where the customer has finished the service, such as the till, the receipt or the table.

You can also create the code in your Business Profile, but Google says that is currently available on a computer browser only.

## Google review NFC card: when does it help?

An NFC card carries the same review link, and the customer opens it by tapping a phone on it, with no scan. It helps at a table, a reception desk or in a car, where pointing a camera at paper is awkward. The tool does not write cards, but you copy your link from it and write it to the card with any NFC writing app.

Not every device reads these cards, so put a QR code beside it. A card changes none of Google's rules: the same neutral wording for every customer, with nothing offered in return.

## Where to put the QR code

- At the moment after the service: at the till, on the receipt, on the table once the order is served, or on the delivery bag.
- In the message after an order or appointment, to every customer, not only the happy ones.
- With neutral wording such as "Review your experience", with no discount or gift and no request for a star count.

Google itself suggests reminding customers through a link or QR code, and prohibits offering anything for a review or asking only satisfied customers. [Read: raising Google reviews the compliant way](https://smtak.com/en/blog/raising-google-reviews-guide.md)

## Frequently asked questions

### How do I get my Google review link from my Business Profile?

Open your Business Profile on a computer browser while signed in as an owner or manager. Select Read reviews, then Get more reviews, and select Copy to copy the review link. Paste it into the tool to get the QR code. If the link does not show for you, use your Place ID from Google's official Place ID Finder.

### How do I copy my Google review link and send it to customers?

Copy the link with the Copy link button in the tool or from your Business Profile, then send it after the service by WhatsApp, text message or email. Send the same message to every customer, not only the happy ones, with no discount or gift and no star count asked for. The tool has a ready message worded that way.

### Can I create a Google review QR code directly in Google?

Yes. Google says review QR codes can currently be generated only on a computer browser, not on mobile. If you want an SVG file for the printer or a ready A6 card, paste the link into this tool.

### Is an NFC review card better than a QR code?

Not necessarily. An NFC card carries the same link and is read by tapping a phone, but not every device reads it. Put a QR code beside it as a fallback. What matters most is asking every customer after the service in the same way.

### Why doesn't the tool accept a normal map link?

A map link (such as maps.app.goo.gl) opens the business page, so the customer has to look for the review button and many stop first. A review link opens the review form directly.

### Does Google allow asking for reviews with a link or QR code?

Yes. Google itself suggests reminding customers to leave a review through a link or a QR code. What is prohibited is offering anything in return, asking only happy customers, or asking staff to review.

### Does the QR code expire?

No. The QR code carries Google's own link and does not pass through SMTAK, so it keeps working as long as your profile and its link exist.

### Can I see how many people scanned the QR code?

Not in the free tool, which stores nothing. In SMTAK each branch gets a campaign link whose visits and scans are counted before the customer continues to Google's review page.

### How do I make a QR code for my Google reviews?

Paste your review link or Place ID into the tool above and the QR code is drawn in your browser. Download it as a PNG or SVG, or print a ready design (A6 card, A5 table stand, 85×55 mm business card or A4 poster), and scan it with a phone camera before you print.

### Is the generator free, and do I need to sign up?

It is free and needs no account. The link and the QR code are made in your browser and nothing is stored on our side.

### I have several branches. Do I need a link for each one?

Yes. Every branch has its own Business Profile and so its own review link. Make a link and a QR code for each branch and place it in that branch, so the reviews reach the right one.

### I still call it Google My Business (GMB). Is the review link the same?

Google My Business is now called Google Business Profile. You find the review link in your Business Profile under Read reviews, then Get more reviews.
