SMTAK is not Google and does not represent it. Google does not charge for a Business Profile, and you can do every step yourself at no cost. This service is for our time and guidance only.
How the service works
- You order the service from your account, agree in writing to our role on your profile, and pay the fee once.
- We review your business profile with you: do the name, address and category match what your real-world signage shows?
- We prepare with you what Google asks for: the method it offers for your profile, and a video shot list if it is requested.
- You perform Google's step yourself: you record the video and enter the verification code without sharing it with us.
- We follow up with you until Google decides. If it asks for more information we explain why and point you to the next step; the decision is Google's alone.
What we do
- We check with you that your business name, address and category match what customers see on your real-world signage, as Google's guidelines require.
- We explain the method Google offers for your profile, whether phone, email, video or postcard, and what to watch for in each.
- We prepare a shot list for the video from Google's requirements for your type of business, storefront or service-area.
- If you see Review issues, the Get verified button returns, or Google asks for more information, we explain the reason Google gives and guide you to the next step.
- We point you to the right route for a duplicate profile, a profile someone else verified, or a suspended profile.
- We tell you about every change we suggest to your profile before it is made, and we change nothing without your consent.
What you need to do
- Be the business owner or formally authorised to act for it, and agree in writing to request our service.
- Have a Google Account that you control the profile with.
- Record the video yourself at your business, because Google asks for proof that you manage it.
- Enter verification codes yourself. Do not share them with us or anyone else: Google says it will never ask for them.
- Never send us your Google Account password.
- Choose our role on your profile: manager, or no access at all. You remain the owner.
What we cannot do
- We cannot guarantee that Google accepts a verification. The decision is Google's alone, and we promise no outcome.
- We cannot choose the verification method. Google decides it and it cannot be changed.
- We cannot speed up Google's review. Google says it takes up to 5 business days.
- We cannot verify a business that is not eligible for a profile, such as an online-only business with no in-person services.
- We do not create signage, documents or proof that do not exist, and we do not record the video for you.
- We do not take over another business's profile or claim one without its owner's consent.
- We promise no ranking or placement on Google. That is outside this service.

We tell you the fee in writing before we begin, it appears as its own line on your invoice, and it does not change without notice.
Ending the service
To end the service and have SMTAK's access to your profile removed, write to us on WhatsApp or by email. We remove our permissions and disassociate our account within 7 business days of your notice.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need your service to verify my business?
No. Google Business Profile is a tool you can use at no charge, and every verification step is open to you directly. We help if you want someone to organise the steps.
Do you guarantee verification?
No. Only Google decides, and it sets the methods and conditions. We guide you so that you meet the requirements it lists.
Do I give you my password or verification code?
No. We never ask for your account password or your verification code. Google says it will never ask for the code and that it should not be shared even with those who manage your profile.
Do I stay the owner of my profile?
Yes. You remain the owner or a co-owner at all times. If you want to end the service, we disassociate our account from your profile and remove our permissions within 7 business days of your notice.
Is this service from Google or in partnership with Google?
No. SMTAK is not Google, and is not a partner or representative of Google.
