Google review reply generator
Write a professional reply to any Google Maps review in seconds: choose the rating, tone, dialect and what the customer talked about, then copy the reply. Every reply apologises without arguing, never asks for stars and never offers anything in return, as Google's policies require.
Last updated:
Hi there, We're sorry for the long wait — your time matters to us. We'd really like to hear from you directly and put it right.
Before posting, add one detail from the customer's own words: the dish, the staff member or the moment they mentioned. A reply that proves you read the review beats any template.
The rules the generator follows
- Thank the customer by name when given, and acknowledge what they talked about.
- For a complaint: a sincere apology without excuses or argument, then a move to a private channel.
- No request for stars and nothing offered in return: Google's policies prohibit both.
- No personal details about the customer, and no confirmation of a care relationship in healthcare.
- A consistent tone that sounds like your brand: warm, formal, youthful or luxury.

Frequently asked questions
Does the generator use AI?
No. It assembles the reply from templates the SMTAK team wrote for each tone, dialect, rating and topic, and it runs in your browser. In the SMTAK platform each review gets a reply written from its actual text, waiting for your approval.
Should I paste the reply as it is?
Add one detail from the customer's own words, such as the dish or the staff member they named. A reply that proves you read the review beats any template.
Why doesn't the reply ask the customer to change their rating?
Asking for a changed review, or offering something for it, breaks Google's fake-engagement rules. A good reply apologises, fixes and invites contact; the rest is the customer's decision.
What about clinics and healthcare providers?
Turn on healthcare mode: the reply never confirms the reviewer was a patient or mentions any treatment, and moves any complaint to a private channel to protect patient privacy.
Do you store what I type?
No. The name, text and tone stay in your browser and nothing is sent to any server.
